Transport Passenger Assistants
£6.00 - £7.36per hour (Pending a Pay Award |
Are you the type of
person who likes a challenging but rewarding job?
We are seeking people with a friendly,
understanding and helpful approach to provide care and
supervision for children with special needs whilst they are
travelling to and from school.
You will need to work in partnership with the driver to
ensure the safety of these children and that they are handed
over to a responsible person at the end of the journey.
We currently require people who are able to work on an 'as
and when required' basis, often at short notice, to cover
the absences of our permanent Passenger Assistants. A
contact telephone number is essential.
Your own transport is not required as you will be collected
from, and returned to, your home address.
Payment will be weekly in arrears and you will be paid for
the time actually spent on the vehicle.
You will be required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau
Disclosure Application Form in order to assess your
suitability for working with children.
Although no permanent positions are available at this time,
it is likely that you will be best placed for any regular
Passenger Assistant work which becomes available.
Applications are invited from people living within the
Borough of Poole.
