Personnel Officer (Equal Pay)

This is an exciting new role which will
develop over time – from supporting the completion of our
job evaluation project to taking a lead role in ongoing
equal pay reviews and job evaluation processes.
You will:
-
Provide a key role in completing the job
evaluation project for service units and schools in the
Borough.

Advise on job evaluation and equal pay
issues, conditions of service, and personnel policies
-
Take responsibility for maintaining the
integrity of job evaluation and pay arrangements in due
course
-
Undertake other personnel project and
some casework as required.
You should :
-
Be a full or part qualified member of
the CIPD
-
Have experience or knowledge of
administering a job evaluation scheme or be willing to
train.

Have experience of delivering high
quality personnel advice to managers and employees in a
larger organisation
-
Have a strong commitment to equal
opportunities in employment

Have a good understanding of current
employment law.

Be a good communicator, have a confident
style, resilience, adaptability and a “can do” attitude
