These newly created roles have been designed
to provide high volume low intensity cognitive behavioural
therapy based self-management interventions to clients with
mild to moderate anxiety and depression. As part of the
training you will also be required to attend a university
course 1 day a week for Low Intensity Workers. To apply you
should have experience of working with people with mental
health problems in a primary care setting and an
understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may
present in primary care.
