Social Work Assistant

We have the opportunity for a Social Work
Assistant to join us within the Children and Young People
Social Care Safeguarding and Permanency Team 2. Our areas of
expertise are Child Protection and Children in Care.
The post will involve assisting Social Workers in
undertaking a range of tasks when working with children and
their families within the community.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to
communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and be
able to cope well under pressure. Flexibility, enthusiasm
and good interpersonal skills are also required for this
post.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain some experience in
the social work field. We are able to offer regular
supervision and training opportunities for the successful
candidate.#
You should have:

Experience of working with young people.

Knowledge of The Children Act

A current valid driving licence.
